open call

Winter'27

As a designer, I'm naturally curious about what people are building and why, so I keep Fridays open, informally, for founders and researchers. What's blocking you, where you're headed, what you're excited about. Sometimes that turns into an intro for raising or hiring.

Early stage

  • Local AI and active inference
  • Physical / Hardware AI
  • Machine learning for finance and fraud detection
  • Developer & Creative tools
  • Not limited at that.

I'd love to hear if these interest you too.

Personal research

Open, local, private AI

— I believe that AI is more of commodity, that people (us) should own and control its development, not the other way around.

Using AI to go analog

— a way to cope with daily information overload rather than add to it.

Cognitive and computational psychology

— Improving current approaches to AI design; how AI could build on what we're already good at: widen our attention budget, not flood it with more to read; help to practice different ways of thinking, make learning and life accessible — like feel more confident speaking a non-native language, in-ear navigation, focus on augmentation.

Explainability, AI authorship

— one of the most crucial problems right now, tied to trust and security, especially in VLAs.

Digital archiving

— preserving original sources, or "fingerprints of truth".
